and I thought I should be game and participate.
The quilt I have chosen was made for a dear friends' baby girl born in August this year. My friend had been collecting different kinds of pink fabric for years and always wanted to make a quilt out of them, but did not quite dare to have a go herself. So I offered to make it for her, and I think this is my best quilt so far, I love it! (and so do my friend and her husband, she nearly cried when I gave it to them :) )
I had about 12 different kinds of 10 inch cuts to work with. What better to do than a chinese coin quilt on white to showcase the beautiful fabrics she had chosen:
My first time to stipple a whole quilt :)

I chose green binding to bring out the leaves in some of the fabrics

What's a lovely quilt for a lucky baby girl. Your stripling is great as well. This quilt will be hard wearing quilt for baby - Hugs Natima
It really is a beautiful quilt. I love that you chose green binding to highlight the rose leaves; much better than the obvious pink option!
This is a beautiful quilt! I love the look of stacked coins; I've been wanting to try this for awhile but (being pretty new to quilting) I haven't gotten that far yet. You did a lovely job!
Thanks for your visit!

It's just lovely in pink, white, and green. Your stippling is perfect for an old fashioned look. That baby is very lucky to have such a wonderful quilt.
Lovely quilt and the quilting adds such great texture.
I love it! So pretty in pink. And so crinkly and inviting-- like it's just waiting to be snuggled with. You did a great job.

Oh, what beautiful pinks ! That must have been some job doing all of that stippling, too ! I admire you for sticking with it.
I do love the way the quilts crinkle when washed ! And the way you have it rolled up........I'd love to just have a bushel basket of those rolled up in a corner to choose from when I wanted a little throw !
this is absolutely beautiful. i love coin quilts but have never made one myself.
Such a pretty quilt. I love the coin pattern. Especially think the green binding pulls the whole quilt together. Thanks for sharing.
